To mark St Patricks Day, the programme will also include Irish songs - At the Midhour of Night (Thomas Moore) set by Benjamin Britten, a song by Irish composer Ina Boyle, and two haunting settings of the Irish poet Máirtín Ó Direáin by Criostóir Ó Loingsigh. Helen and Paul's collaboration began with a performance of their programme Zweisamkeit (Two Togetherness) in Würzburg, Germany in June 2024 as part of Zeitgeist Irland 24, an initiative of Culture Ireland and the Embassy of Ireland, Germany. This programme was recorded and will be released as an album this year. A short video documenting this recording project can be viewed on this page- check it out.
