Ina Boyle’s choral work Cædmon's Hymn will be premiered in the Carice Singers’ 2022 season of performances.
This year marks the 150th birthday of Ralph Vaughan Williams and, to commemorate the occasion, the Carice singers have programmed exciting concerts featuring music by Vaughan Williams alongside his female contemporaries, many of whom he taught and worked with; including Ina Boyle, Imogen Holst, Elizabeth Maconchy and Jane Josephs. The events have been curated to “pay homage to [RVW’s] critical role in encouraging a new and emboldened generation of female composers“.
