On St. Cecilia’s Day, Monday 22 November 2021, Ina Boyle’s Phantasy for violin and chamber orchestra (1926) will have its world premiere recording at the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
Violinist Erin Hennessey typeset the first edition of the work; the score and parts are now available through the Contemporary Music Centre in Dublin.
She performs the Phantasy here alongside faculty, students and alumni of the Royal Irish Academy of Music. This project was funded and made possible by the Gaiety Theatre Bursary, in association with the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
